This is amazingly beautiful song. Melodic rock and the vocals are simply touching my very critical heart. Catchy song and I keep on wondering of the high quality which comes when band has been together creating their sound over an decade. Well done indeed. I am eagerly looking forward for more from this group :)

I have today listened this song several times as today especially this kind of melodic popsong is what I love most. I feel the passion and Dyrga (leadsinger) delivers that with such perfection. Great song,great group :)

I was at first attracted to this simple melody and this very cut-down video, which focus to the basics;music. He has good voice and charisma which comes thru even in this video. Elements that every artists needs. Song is perhaps simple and perhaps we have heard similars before, but in this song everything clicks and works. Interesting artist no doubt for that :)

Ukraine : Taruta

Taruta band´s genre is worldmusic. This ethnic sound including singing and used instruments are facinating. Quality speaks out for itself as you will find from this video.

LLoyd shows new side of his music and this is more mainstream pop including dancesteps. This is good but I am not totally sure if his superb voice comes out as it in my opinion should. Still this is great popsong and Lloyd is amazing,don´t get me wrong :)

Norway : Adelén

Adelén Rusillo Steen aka Adelén was born 1996 Tonsberg. She took part in Norwegian national selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2013 and came 2nd with the song "bombo", which did rise to several european charts.

She is the name for today as her song "olé" was taken on the official cd-album for the FIFA 2014 games which starts today.

Ethiopia : Mulugeta Lema

Unfortunately I couldn´t find a thing which could have been linked with this artist. Research did find a lot, but I am not the slightest sure that all of that is one and same person, so all you get is his name and the video. Sorry.
If someone of you knows more - let me know, so this can be updated.

 

This is such an catchy song. The ethiopian amharic culture shows in this too. In rhythm/sounds it goes along with the modern style and this fusion is amazing. I can´t get enough of this song and after the 4th listening now I might click play it again :) Artist is talented and has beautiful voice

Croatia : Navarro

Navarro band was founded in 2011. They started as duo and soon more members were joining. Creating music in garage is how so many indie-bands start and so did Navarro too.

2012 they recorded their 1st demo "prelude" and won 1st place in local debut bands forum. That lead to the recording contract and finally 1st commercial single was released.

Sh1ller is still found interesting artist. Rap-hip hop in bilingual version with pretty modern beat. That is unique and interesting enough. This interesting language I can´t get enough and how well it fits together with english and rap. The sounds are cool and should easily find to the playlists also elsewhere. Italy : Renzo Rubino

Oronzo Rubino aka Renzo Rubino was born in Taranto 1988. He is singer-songwriter. He debuted in 2008, was singer in a band before going solo again. He has done 3 tours, released 3 albums.

San Remo festival. He took part twice so far. 2013 in giovani serie /young artists with the song "il postino (amami uomo)" which he wrote himself and got 3rd place.


2014 he did take part in artists serie with two songs he wrote himself. Jury/audience voted to final the song "ora" which came 3rd.

Renzo is interesting artists. These three songs have all different styles and brings clearly out his talents.
2013 SR wasn´t perhaps fully in my taste, but it was demanding for sure and in style what SR songs needs to be to get attention.
2014 SR was far more melodic and somehow I got thoughts from Matia Bazar an old italian popgroup due of the style, but well done indeed.
Sottovuoto  was in my opinion the best of these three. Very melodic song and I adore how he is playful with the melody which is strong. Amazing popsong from very talented artist. Great video :) WOW :)

Courtney Parker was born in Oklahoma city 1985. She is singer-dancer who now lives in Athens,Greece. Before moving to Greece she studied and teached dancing. Created choreografias for various artists before becoming one of the Pussycat dolls. Group is rather new and brings each time quite strong songs. This song is interesting where classic music meets hip hop. Sounds interesting for sure. I can imagine, that some of you might find this fusion bit too much...hey give it a chance and you will like it as much as I do :)

Italy : Bandabardó

Bandabardó was founded in 1993. They play folk-rock music in acoustic and they are giving honour for Brigitte Bardot by adopting the name from her.

Band did release their 1st album in 1996 and so far released 12 albums including EP:s. New album is going to be released in August, if I am not totally mistaken.

Also this group was totally new discovery for me. Music is very melodic and takes me back few decades. Melody is pleasent and sound is still fresh and somehow everything fits. This video is very beautiful and creative. I like this. Grazie mille :)

Ukraine : Assia Ahhatt

Inessa Danilova aka Assia Ahhatt was born in Kyev 1965. She is singer and plays violin. She has studied in Nice music academy and performed all around Europe.  She released her 1st album in 1999 and totally she has released 7 albums and has filmed 36 videoclips.

France : Bensé

Julien Bensenior aka Bensé was born in Nice 1980. He is singer-songwriter. He did play in bars,clubs in streets and wrote own songs and moved to Paris 2002 and continued doing the same as in Nice. 2008 producer from Universal was present and offered later the contract and rest is history.

He has now released 1 album in 2009 and EP 2014. He has been touring in between.

Bensé was also totally new discovery for me. This song is such an happy tune bit french chanson that meet pop. Very cool mixture :) Also it was very superb to see Paris as I have been away from there for far too long time (19 years). Oh la la. The video is as fantastic as the song. I love it :)

Belgium : 2 Fabiola

2 Fabiola eurodancepop group was founded in 1991. The name was taken from Queen Fabiola of Belgium back then. This band has several hits and has seen several member changes during the years.

Currently they are doing come-back and started by competing in Belgium national final selection this year with this song.

When this song was presented in Belgian eurovision selection I was hoping, that this is sent to Copenhagen. This has all the elements what is needed for an massive hit and stage show was perhaps bit too much for stiff jury, but already now this does better in charts than the "winner".

2 fabiola was one of my favegroups from Belgium in ´90´s so it was nice to see they coming back again :) Superb :)

An another beat for this saturday. Sun shines and many will party so this saturday Wom brings the partymood from Iceland. Video has lots of humour here and there and some shocking scenes or are those?! 

Beat is interesting despite I am not at all going at rave´s,but the beat is facinating. Melody is strong enough and in whole this works just as planned. Well done guys :)

This is very catchy eurodancepop and I like it a lot. Also the scenery of Reykjavik is beautiful. Dancing alone great song and has all what could be hoped for an big hit :)

Sweden : Linnea Henriksson

Ellen Linnea Petrea Henriksson aka Linnea Henriksson was born in Halmstad 1986. She debuted in "små stjänorna" (little stars) 1995. In school she had her 1st band, which released one album. On her solo-career she has released 2 albums. She took part also in Idols 2010 and came 4th.

I remember how I adored Linnea during the Idols and saw how she took amazing risks and went her own way. And now she has shown everyone, that she was in my eyes the winner of that years idols.

Armenia : Gevorg Martirosyan

Gevorg Martirosyan was born in Hrazdan,Armenia, in 1983 on the 4^th of June. During the years of learning in the secondary school he also went for several sports, especially for professional football. During the same period of time he attended violin classes in the local school of Art. 

Gevorg Martirosyan served in the Army of the Republic of Armenia. 

After the Army he entered the school-studio by the Erevan State Song Theatre. After graduating from the school-studio he worked in the Song Theatre as a solo. 

Gevorg Martirosyan took part in different festivals and competitions, including the megaproject “The Voice of Armenia” and passed to the final. He also received various honors and prizes.

Gevorg has superb voice. I liked this melodic song which is very fresh in so many ways. Rhythm is something that wins me over and melody does the rest. He has the looks,voice and great songs somehow it´s difficult to find enough suitable adjectives, maybe just WOW :)

He mentioned how he has self-studied everything and in that case I must congratulate him for having close to perfection control of own voice. Song is cool and I like the beat. Vixx have several hits and I have loved their superb danceroutines and songs, that have strong melody and are very catchy. This song is no exception in there. Great song and very entertaining indeed :)

He has very good and modern sound. Video is made with quite an creative mind, which tells the story for us whom don´t understand his language :) And once again this is shown how music is the universal language and this music works pretty well. Song is one of the best I have heard in this genre. Love it :)

Ukraine : Monatyk

Dmitry Monatyk was born in Lutsk 1986. He is singer-songwriter and dancer. Between 2000-2006 he was member of DBS dancegroup (breakdance). He has had various own bands and he has worked with several huge names of ukrainian musicscene like Natalie Mogilevskaja and Svetlana Loboda. He was the quest artist in X-factor and since that worked hard on solo-career. Debut album is just released and here you can see 1st single from that and before released 8 singles.

Monatik is very talented and interesting artist. Song itself is catchy modern popsong and the dance could it be more perfect? No. He has the talent for creating very visual number and in whole this is pure art :)

Cape Verde ; Rary Silva

Beat is so cool and he has great voice. Bilingual songs are always working with me. I could have several words to say about the english lyrics which are bit too repetive, but that´s so common thing in popsongs. Also I would point out, that how this female acted on video was totally not needed as this song works without it far better. Am I oldfashioned? Not the slightest :)

Greece : Demy

Dimitra Papadea aka Demy was born in Athens 1991. She has released 1 album, 2 Ep.s and several singles. She got directly to the greek 1st place 2011 and has continued to claim charts 1st place ever since.

Song is very catchy uptempo europop and this will without any problem rise to the top in greek charts. Summerhit. Melody is strong enough, rap-part isn´t in my opinion needed thus that´s quite popular at the moment. Enjoy this happy tune :)

Ben Mazué was born in Nice 1981.He is singer-songwriter and has diploma for medicine. He debuted in 2006 and got directly awarded. Several other awards followed like the recording contract. Bosnia-Herzegovina : Divanhana

Divanhana was founded in 2009 by students of music academy. They have taken practically their audience in various countries during their european tours.

Divanhana is such a fresh group performing old traditional music from Balkan. This melody took me directly along and the video is very visual showing the beautiful sights of Sarajevo, where this group is coming from. Vocalist has beautiful voice. 

Russia : Premier Ministr

Premier ministr aka Prime Minister was founded in 1996. Band has released 12 albums, 2 dvds. They represented Russia in Eurovision Song Contest 2002, Tallinn with the song "northern girl" receiving 10th place.
Band has seen few changes in members but still doing new comeback. Last album was released 2008 and now new material was released. Enjoy :)

This song is rather melodic popsong, ljubov, love what else. Still this sounds pleasent and is easily finding it´s way to various radiochannels playlists. 

Italy : Annalisa

Annalisa Scarrone aka Annalisa was born in Savona 1985. She debuted in 2001 and since then was member in various groups. 2010 she took part in Amici di Maria de Filippi 10th edition and that opened the wider success.

2013 she took part in San Remo with the song "scintilla" which received 9th place.

San Remo entry : scintilla was very superb song which did show her unique talent. Song had jazzvibe and her voice matched that with such perfection. But it was quite clear, that rising to victory of this festival wasn´t going to be happening. Still IMO victory is one thing, one thing is taking part in superb song and "scintilla" is such song, which can be easily an evergreen.

"sento sole il presente" I love it. Love the strong melody, these little ways how melody changes gives this the deep. Her voice I can´t get enough. Superb lady, superb voice. What a talent. :)

Netherlands : Gerard Joling

Gerard Jan Joling aka Gerard Joling was born in Alkmaar 1960. He is artist and tv-host. Gerard has released 21 albums in solo, 7 albums more in group Toppers and 11 dvds plus countless singles. She is unique in many levels. She has the voice and the capasity to create very visual strong performances. Still I must say it loudly, that she has no need to sell what she does with the help of sex or nudity, like was seen in this video. She has the talent and that speaks for itself. It needs no other methods as using those methods can work against instead. Anyway I liked her voice,song and hope to hear/see more soon :)

Canada : Young Liars

Young Liars is indieband from Vancouver. Band was founded in 2008. Band has released 2 EP:s and debut album is coming out in June.

Their sound is very fresh and hopefully that remains such. This joyful video suits this perfectly. Visual videos can be created with smaller budgets too.  Yeah song is great modern popsong I like it :)

Denmark : Stine Bramsen

Stine has amazing voice and this song is superb. Lyrics are also worth noticing. This video functions well, some want the oldfashioned video I know where artist is in 1st place. Now you are giving for sure value for her voice,lyrics,melody and so on right? This is so catchy song... waiting for her album, which I hope to get naturally :)

Germany : Hagen Stoll

Hagen Stoll or also Joe Rilla was born 1975. He has totally released 10 albums,11th in september and countless EP-s and cd-singles. Also songs in various collections, so he has been very productive. He debuted being member of various groups. Produced music for others and continued on projects.

Blues isn´t at all my cup of tea as very rarely I hear singer, whom I can believe can deliver what he/she sings about. Hagen Stoll can and does it so well. I have listened this song now several times in a row and can´t get enough. Song is produced well, melody strong, lyrics works and hagen stoll´s voice fits like a glove. Perfect :)

Nikolaus Presnik aka Nik P was born in Friesach 1962. He has released 13 albums and sold over million copies and won goldrecords for most of them.

Michel van der Klugt aka Michel van Dyke was born in Noordwijkerhout, Netherlands 1961. He has been in piano lessons since 1968 and in 1972 he was organist in local church. 1977 his family moved to Germany. Various groups and soloprojects. He got 1st recordcontract in 1986 and released then few singles.He has totally released 9 albums in two languages,german and english.

Fāng Dàtóng aka Khalil Fong was born in Kauai/Hawaii,Usa 1983. He is singer-songwriter. His family moved to China/Shanghai when he was 6 and later to Hong Kong. His debut was in 2005 and success was as big in Taiwan. He has released 10 albums.

Ge Zhongshan aka Miss Ko was born in New York 1985. She is singer-songwriter and lyricist. She did release an mixtape 2009 which received attention.2011 she moved to Taiwan and started to take 1st steps as artist. Took part in contest which gave her recording contract. Debut album was released 2012 and several awards did follow like best newcomer.

Vietnam : Thanh Ngoc & Cuong Dc

Today all of you will see an video,where artists play the 2nd fiddle. Artists are not shown once in this video, but still without music this wouldn´t be possible.

So you think you can dance is superb format, which I follow every time it is bought to our channels. Winner of 2012 Vietnamese contest was won by Lam Vinh Hai. He is born 1989 and has received other awards since winning the contest. Now he is leader in MTE dance company. His facebook 

Artists Thanh Ngoc was born in Ho Chi Minh City 1983. She is artist and actress. She has starred in 7 movies and released 3 albums. Her facebook 

Che Dinh Cuong aka Cuong Dc is new artist and is releasing 2nd single very soon.  His facebook (personal) 

Artists have superb voices and perform their part with style. Their voices matches amazingly well together and they should continue recording more duets together.

Dancers it´s clear how there is talents behind the each light move. Choreography isn´t perhaps 2 demanding for everyone´s taste, but this is combination how dance completes the music taking it to other dimension which just took place. I am sure that you will watch this again and again and notice the bodytalk,simultanious steps and the lightness. :) 

Armenia : Artur Nersesyan

Artur Nersesyan was born in Tjumen 1997.
That´s basicly all I know of him right now.

After I received this rather interesting song I couldn´t leave it as I kind of knew how you would like to hear it too :)

 

This is very catchy poptune,but the chorus could have been as strong as rest of the song. I would be very eager to hear the armenian version of this song which I think could work as good :)

United Arab Emirates : Fayez Al Saeed

Fayez Al Saeed was born in 1974. 20 years later he debuted in Tunisia, Karthago international festival.Debut album was released 1996.

He is signed in Rotana and in my opinion that is heard. Quality speaks for itself.

When I started to listen this video I was directly amazed. This is not the most typical song you would think from arab artist. But that´s how it was once again prooven right, never suppose :)

Melodic is strong, his voice is unique and visually this is an masterpiece like is practically the trademark of Rotana. 
In short this is amazing song,video and artist. WOW.
