Pianoboy aka Dmitry Shurov was born in Vinnitsa 1981. He is ukrainian musician,pianist and artist.
He was member in famous group Okean Elzy before turning to solo-career under the name Pianoboy.

Some months ago I got to know about Pianoboy. I started to enjoy his music as that was so melodic like you will hear also in this song. And these preludes takes the melody further and the strong choruses are trademarks in my opinion in Dmitry´s music.

Argentina : A.N.G.E.L.E.S.

Angeles is pop-rock group from Argentina. Group was founded 2007 and has released 2 EP:s 2009 and 2011. Last year was released album,where these two ep.s + 4 new songs was included. Now new album is under preparation and that is promised during this year.

Angeles has such adult pop-rock style, which could be clever as that is now very radiofriendly,melodic and therefor interesting.

Daily I receive plenty of email with suggestions and releases.

Most time goes to the research, which in some cases are demanding as information is sometimes totally missing. Some artists seems to like to be hidden in the dark and I do hope how this would change. Jung Joon-Young was born in Jakarta,Indonesia 1989. He is singer-songwriter and Dj. His musicstyle is rock-pop, which you will hear also in this song. He was raised in various countries as his family moved often as his father was succesful businessman. All that gave him inspirations, skills in languages and this is why his sound is unique in my opinion. He debuted in 2007 being member in popgroup and 2013 he turned to solo-career.

Go Younha aka Younha was born in Seoul 1988. She debuted in 2004. She has released 17 albums in korea and japan. She has featured in countless amount of songs.

Song is catchy,well written and suitable for such an hot summerhit. Problem in my opinion lies with the artist. Often the question is will the right song find the right artist? In this case I am positive how this would be better with another artist.

Tiwatope Savage Balogun aka Tiwa Savage was born in Ikeja 1980. She is singer-songwriter and actress. Her family moved to UK when she was 11 years old. She debuted as George Michael´s backup vocalist at age of 16 and since that she has worked with other big names of british music industry. 2006 she took part in british x-factor and she got the spotlights and people knew her after that despite being voted out in early stage. 2011 she did host 2nd season of nigerian idol, debuted in movie.

Tiwa has amazing strong voice and this song is something I really can´t find direct opinion. This fusion of various music styles like reggae makes this bit strange. Popmusic should be as easy as possible. This feels like it is made by several songs and remixed all pieces together, but was this succesful? Not in my book, but this is just my feelings right now. She deserved far better song with an melody... maybe next time :)

Taiwan / China Sodagreen

Sodagreen is indieband from Taiwan. Band was formed 2001. They have taken part in various local contests and relesed 9 albums and 5 singles (not from any album).

Currently band is nominated for Golden Melody awards with this video. We shall see how it goes for them.

Sodagreen has been a band, that I have been following quite some time. Their style attract and one thing is common in their repertoire, strong melodies and singing. Also the lyrics are praised online, but for me whom doesn´t understand it as I understand the universal language of music. Video is very visual and entertaining and is worth the prize. Video brings something new and this wasn´t easy nor cheap to do either,but well done Sodagreen :) I loved this very much.

Bahrain : Hala Al Turk

Bahrain is where Hala Al Turk is coming from. She was born 2002 and from early age she did show her talents and interest for music. Therefor it´s no surprise how she has already won several childrens festivals and released several songs which gain huge success.

It´s easy to tell where these musicians come from. The genuine sound and the professional touch can be felt. I am always pro knowing own roots and being proud of that. Illapu shows how this can be done with such a style, that can make whole nation proud. Their lyrics are playing big part certainly :) Well done Illapu :)

Panyarisa Thienprasiddhi aka Waii has been born 2536 (in thai) and in western way 1993. She has been releasing several songs and she has amazing fanbase. Time will tell what Waii does after she gets her diplomas from studies.

Song is beautiful from 1st seconds it captures along. This is quite an perfect example when less is more and focusing on the right issues that are needed and only there :) Having piano in big role and her tender voice is perfect harmony which gives the melody huge power. Love it :)

Pasabordo duo comes from Medellin. Group was formed 2007. They received success in several latinamerican countries and they toured around too. They have released 2 albums "por ti" & "paso a paso" and both albums filled with hits could I say shortly. 

Jhonatan was born 1985 and got interested in music in early age. Choirs and studies took him where he is now.
Juan Gabriel Rodriguez Monsalve was born in 1988. He learned how to play various instruments before he started to sing at the age of 12. Since that he has written several songs incl. hits by pasabordo.

Te quiero amar (you love to love) well who wouldn´t. This is great and catchy song and the visual video wow. Sure this has more meaning as I have been there personally :) But honestly about them.. they have the charm,great voices and music couldn´t function better. Bravo.

Abhay Jodhpurkar was born in 1991 Madhya Pradesh. He is tamil singer. His wikipedia tells, that he has diploma for biotechnology.He has recorded more than 12 songs in various indian films. He won the award for best debut playback singer 2013.

This is quite an catchy song with such an hitpotential for this years summerhit? Who knows, the beat is right and melody is catchy enough and artists voices match quite nicely together. Thus I think this could have worked better as solo, but :) Video has very superb effects, that will most likely attract many viewers :)

Having enough information about the artists available for the basics - age, debut, releases,introduction,website and everything else is pure bonus and will help doing PR for YOUR artists. Music industry is hard enough and there is no need to make it more difficult :)

Croatia : Moskva ft. Ivan Dečak

Moskva group is coming from Rijeka. They made debut 1.5 years ago and have released 1 album so far. This track "svijet je nas" (world is ours) is first single from their 2nd album :)

This is new group and members have been part in various different groups for the past 10 years. That explains many things, just as their sound which is as ready as ready can be.

Denmark : Lukas Graham

Lukas Graham is four member popgroup from Denmark. They started their career creating positive fuzz in youtube with their homemade videos "drunk in the morning" and "criminal mind". So they were signed for Copenhagen records was quite an normal procedure :)

Lukas Graham Forchhammer vocalist clearly gave the band it´s name and their cool sound soul/funk is unique.

Quite many might have woken up being "drunk in the morning", but that´s not the reason I selected this song. This beat is interesting and the colour of Lukas´s voice is amazing and lifts this song higher. Enjoy this catchy tune and you will notice how you are singing along too :) Great guys :)

Sweden : Agnetha Fältskog

Agnetha Åse Fältskog aka Agnetha was born in Jönköping 1950. Many of us remember her being 1 of Abba between 1972-1982, but she had massive career before Abba too. She has released 13 albums and several songs by her are in various other collections too. 12 best of albums also tell how popular she really is.

I did grow up  first listening to her, then Abba and now both :)
Agnetha wrote her 1st song at age of 6 and she made the debut at age of 5 performing "billy boy" in amateur theater. At 15 she was vocalist in a danceband. 1967 she made the 1st recording "jag var så kär" (I was so in love) which was her 1st number one hit (sold over 80000). About her I could keep on writing an novel, but maybe this isn´t the right place. I am glad, that after all the time she returned to the studios and made superb album "A"(2013). Get it and you will enjoy many great songs. One of the best by her early years in my opinion is "om tårar var guld" (if tears would be gold) which still brings tears to eyes like it did back then.

This song is as catchy as her 1st video we had in march. This happy positive melody is joyful and very entertaining bringing few glimps from the past also at dancing.Clever. John´s voice matches Lucé´s so perfectly. Here I have two artists, whom are so talented and interesting. Oh yeah I listen this once again :)

What could suit better for friday afternoon? Great song full of elements. Also cool to see Paris & London scenes, but what about music. Song is catchy,beat is strong and his voice is good.

Rafi El was born in Israel, but raised in LA,Usa tells his website. He released debut album this january and you will get to dive into his music in video "senda"

Senda is interesting mixture of different styles, cumbia and naturally while listening the picture this music creates is tropical and I could continue easily further.

Bosnia-Herzegovina : Dario Sunjic

Dario Sunjic was born in Mostar 1983. At the age of he debuted in music scene and has since that been member of various popgroups. He took part in local Idols and received 3rd place in 2009.

Dario has strong voice and this song has even good chorus. I could have added some elements perhaps keychanges, but hey this works like this in rock-scene and Dario is interesting artist without any doubt. :)

South Korea : Park Sun Joo

Park Sun Joo performs this great song, which is taken from the korean tv-serie "fermentation family/Kimchi family". This was shown 2011-2012.
Dramahaven.com tells how this drama is an story about 2 daughters whom battle to get their fathers restaurant and especially the recipy of their speciality,kimchi in short.
This is filmed in famous korean restaurant Chunjiin. Pay attention and you see how this video is also a lesson to make kimchi :)

 

This song/video is amazing. Having the traditional elements including instruments and singing and mixing this with rap. And at the same time showing so much of korean culture. No wonder I like this video the melody is strong and try to sing along .. you see the lyrics :)

Song is beautiful ballade once again. His voice is amazing and that alone lifts this otherwise quite typical song higher. I like good songs,strong voices. 

Afghanistan : Valy

Valy Hedjasi was born in Mashhad,Iran 1986, still Herat in Afghanistan is seen as his hometown. He is now residing in Germany. This can´t get more complicated than this :)

Melody is catchy and this is quite typical example of chalga. Pop-elements without forgetting the folkmusic is nice combination. Still I could have hoped for bit more elements, but on the other hand it worked like this too :)

Thailand : Oh Rujapa

Ruja Pa Phak Krajinaj aka Oh Rujapa was born 1996. He studies hotel management and has shown interest for music too.

Norway : Margaret Berger

Margaret Berger was born in 1985 in Bergen. She came at everyone´s knowledge in Norway while taking part in 2nd season Idols in 2004.She got eliminated from the contest in semifinals, but received wildcard and she was running for the top once again. She received 2nd place in the end. She is electropop-singer-songwriter.She has released 3 albums and 1 EP.

Song was OK+, but everything felted pretty cold to me. But pleased for her placing :) This video is taken from her new album and is called "scream" 


She continues in electropop. This has cool backround sounds and her style isn´t what I like directly, but I can see lots of potential in this. So I will return to this again bit later. I am sure this will gain success though :)

Omg! Damas had such a strong voice and I adore the colour of his voice. The melody is beautiful and makes this emotional "fool" get wet eyes. Some music does it and this has more than enough. Orchestration couldn´t be more perfect. Bravo De-Neno :)
