Today in European Union flags are seen everywhere and #EUopendoors activities are around the union.
I thought of celebrating with you, thus it is quite an task for me and also for you, but this is fun :)
EU elections are also here in couple of weeks - do remember to use your right to vote!
5/28 FINLAND
Thomas Kirjonen, born 1985 aka Kasmir has been making music in various bands since 2000. He is also chef so that you know this little detail too. His 1st single by himself is called "vadelmavene" raspberry boat, which is currently in finnish charts 3rd place. Kasmir has been telling about the song and mainly explaining where the title comes from and the why singing about Hanko (www.hanko.fi) city approx 50km from me.
Name comes from an popular swedish candy and in Hanko his family has the summercottage.
The sound is very catchy, if not unique. The lyrics are mainly telling how he wishes to escape from the capital city Helsinki towards Hanko in that raspberryboat. Very happy positive song :)
