Colombia : Pasabordo

Pasabordo duo comes from Medellin. Group was formed 2007. They received success in several latinamerican countries and they toured around too. They have released 2 albums "por ti" & "paso a paso" and both albums filled with hits could I say shortly. 

Jhonatan was born 1985 and got interested in music in early age. Choirs and studies took him where he is now.
Juan Gabriel Rodriguez Monsalve was born in 1988. He learned how to play various instruments before he started to sing at the age of 12. Since that he has written several songs incl. hits by pasabordo.

Te quiero amar (you love to love) well who wouldn´t. This is great and catchy song and the visual video wow. Sure this has more meaning as I have been there personally :) But honestly about them.. they have the charm,great voices and music couldn´t function better. Bravo.
Devuélveme ... takes to totally different style and wow I love this even more. So we remain quite a lot in Mexico, trumpets and other instruments like the rest. Que bueno pasabordo. Muchissimas gracias para tus musica muy buena :)

Colombia: Carlos Vives

Colombia, the land of the beautiful women and delicious coffee.

 This nation has emerged as one of the leading musical industries in Latinamerica, mostly for the world famous Shakira. However, the musical industrie of this nation has much more to show other than "hips don't lie".

Carlos Vives, is one of the most consilidates figures of the colombian musical industry. Born Carlos Alberto Vives Restrepo (Santa Marta, Magdalena, Colombia 1961) is the most famous figure of the vallenato style music.

He have recorded 14 albums since 1986, and has been awarded 6 times with the Latin Grammy Award. He can also add to his resume, taking part in some soap operas, tv shows and movies as an actor.

Colombia: John Paul Ospina

John Paul Ospina Morales, is the full name of our next musical star.

He was born in Vancouver, Canada in September of 1980. His parents are colombian.

When he was 11, he move to Medellín, Colombia. Once he was in Colombia he became the leader voice of the rock band El Sótano.

It was 2004 when he started his way to the big fame, as an actor in the show Al ritmo de tu corazón.

In 2005 he became famous as a tv presenter making intreviews to many international music stars.

In the same year he became the leading voice of the band Da Goske.

It was 2006 when he became part of the show Latin American Idol

Finally the big step was given in 2012 when he released the EP "Forget me" that now we are showing to you

Honestly John Paul we are expecting to have much more music of yours, it's really hard to find such nice electro pop music in Latinamerica.

Colombia: Alkilados

Couple of weeks ago I suddenly found this group, Alkilados.
This group is rather new one,2011, and has released one album. You can visit their website

What I like about this group is their positive attitude, talents and music. I did listen their album and it was not easy to pick one song for you. I selected in the end " amor a primera vez"  Love at first time.
This band has 5 members and Juan does the singing and I love the voice of his.
