Peru: Stephanie Cayo

Stephanie Cristina Cayo born Lima Peru April 8, 1988 is a singer and actress. She became famous playing the main rol in the soap opera Besos Robados (Stolen kisses). Since 2007 she is living in Bogotá, Colombia. In 2011 she started a musical career, releasing her first records. She also played the rol of Roxie Hart in Chicago. In Peru, the popular culture shelter regional rythms, estrange to the fast development of the music in the world. Musical styles like Cumbias, Huayno (Andes Music) are strongly popular in this nation. However some rock bands and pop singers have emerged in the latest years, to refresh and diversify the peruvian musical skyline.

Today, I will present you Leslie Shaw a 25 years old promise for pop music of Peru. She took part in the most prestigius Latinamerican musical contest Viña del Mar, in Chile, where she earned a second place for Peru in 2011. After a musical break where she focused on her acting career, in 2013 she released her single "Ven" that we are now presenting to you.

Serbia : Sevdahbaby & Djixx and Peru: La Fabrik-k

Now we get back to Europe and land in Serbia.
Serbia has so many interesting musicstyles and artists... where to start. I did check local mtv and found very interesting clip, which I can´t let go and I play on and on :)

Sevdahbaby is actually Milan Stankovic´s project. He composes and mixes the songs in very unique style. Like in this song "grad" city  this is interesting poptune where can be found bit blues,jazz & electronicpop no wonder this fusion interests me. Milan Stankovic, born 1987 in Belgrad, started his music career in 2007. Took part in Serbian national finals for Eurovision Song Contest 2010  with the song "ovo je balkan". Milan is more than a artist he is an architect. Multitalent to be brief. Djixx is Dj and the other vocalist in this group.Djixx aka Durdina Radic is also songwriter and artist. It´s time to take a longer jump to South America, Peru. Land of inka´s and exciting music, which we hear quite rarely in my opinion. This is the new sensation from Peru. Group La Fabri-K from Lima is behind the song "festtroni-k", which is very hectic video to say it lightly.
