Dounia Batma was born in Casablanca 1991. Her father is musician which explains a lot. She studied tourism and kept the dream alive for becoming an artist. She took part in Arab Idols 2011 and got 2nd.

Morocco : Jamila El Badaoui

Jamila El Badaoui was born in 1991. She debuted in 2012 at "najm el khaleej" and received immendiately attention in whole arab world. She received the recording contract and since that she has been releasing several songs. This summer she is performing in festivals. According to her twitter she is currently in United Arab Emirates,Dubai.

I am not the slightest surprised of her quick fame. She is very talented and both songs are great ones. Sabee ard maybe bit more interesting in my opinion, yegoulo yegoulu on the other hand brought me back to Morocco. To that special dinner under the stars listening to great music :)

Morocco: Samira Said

Superstar from Morocco is finally back.
It took almost 6 months to get the video and it was worth the wait :)

Samira Said, born 1962 in Rabat Samira Bensaid. She debuted at the age of 9, but professionally since 1975. She have recorded 37 albums, eps. She was the one and so far only artist from Morocco in Eurovision Song Contest at 1980 with Bitakkat hob ( the message of love). I am still so sorry for Europe´s bad taste as she and Morocco deserved far more votes.

She has been gaining success all over the arabworld as music is universal and music does connect people like I use to say. Critics aren´t always pleased to modernized tunes, but on the other hand world is changing and so should each artist do just like Samira does and maintains and grows her fanbase all the time.

Morocco : Saad Lamjarred

We´ve been touring around the globe and it´s finally time to make an stop in Morocco.
Morocco where I have visited, but not in the touristic cities I must say. I did tour around the northern part of Morocco and stayed in Tetouan and Tangier most of days. Great country I must say, so much to see and discover. Food is an another passion and yes I still have the tagine kitchen tool in weekly use. Some spices are out just as the mint tea, but c´est la vie they say in France.

Morocco have taken part once in Eurovision Song Contest. Superb Samira Bensaid took part 1980 with the "bitakat hob", but unfortunately european juries didn´t understand the pearl which was served.

  I will write later about Samira. I´m waiting for the new release :)

From Morocco I did select an another superstar Saad Lamjarred, born 1985. He has famous parents, mother actress and father musician. Took part in Arabic Superstar 2nd place.
Unfortunately very little information was able to locate and more found, which can´t be used.
