South Africa : Lloyd Cele

Lloyd Cele returns to Wom.
Maybe you like to see the earlier post http://womuvi.blogspot.fi/2014/03/south-africa-lloyd-cele.html

You might also like to visit his facebook twitter

LLoyd shows new side of his music and this is more mainstream pop including dancesteps. This is good but I am not totally sure if his superb voice comes out as it in my opinion should. Still this is great popsong and Lloyd is amazing, don´t get me wrong :)

South Africa: Jaziel Brothers

Jaziel Brothers, Luthando & Ntobeko Ngcizela were born in Klerksdorp and showed in very early age their musical talents. One thing led to an another and now the are clearly the nr1 south african duo, if we look at the amount of awards they have received.

Brothers have their own company and their goal is to produce something, that will last and still sound good also after some time. When I did listen their songs I got the same idea I must admit and their sound is fresh, something familiar and still their own flavour. So far they have released 2 albums : The beginning, The Journey :)

I could have selected many songs, but in the end after the other videos seems to be bit uptempo I selected something else. I am sure you will like the strong vocals
enjoy and in the meantime visit their website

Corlea Botha is an Southafrican singer with Rudi Claase acted as Rudi and Corlea . This "singing sweetheart couple"'s paths separated in March 2011 for reasons that are not clear to the public and Corlea swept off following a solo career. When I found the music of Corlea for first time, I fall in love of her talent, and I'm glad to share with you. If you would like to know more on Corlea visit her personal webpage www.corlea.co.za

South Africa: Mi Casa

Mi Casa is southafrican band, which has now to be seen everywhere on MTV base.
This group has 3 members and you can read all what can be found of them online from their facebook page

Song "turn you on" did turn me on quite well. I liked the beat and the matching voices was simply what I call perfect. I liked it and now I am listening this and even singing the chorus and I suppose you will too :)

South Africa : Naima Kay

Naima Kay *** information asked from South Africa and when it arrives I will update this introduction.

Naima Kay released an afro-pop album "umsebenzi", which is presenting this soulful wonderful artist with very beautiful voice. I selected for this blog video "lelilanga", which I find amazing popsong where melody captures and I could listen this on and on again. Song is interesting as you will notice, bit fusion of various styles and that´s maybe the key for success :)

South Africa : Lloyd Cele

When South Africa is mentioned can we all mention several things from Apartheid, Mandela, wineindustry and music. I do recall from 80´s Clout or Coleske which are just 2 examples for universal hits. Lately it has been silent on that front. Maybe soon ...

Lloyd Cele is one of my favourites from South Africa. Lloyd Cele, born 1982 outside of wedlock and raising up during Apartheid-era wasn´t the easiest road to take. He took part in Idols South Africa and came 2nd 2010. Won award for the best popalbum 2012.
I find his music very good. I like his strong voice and the song I do like a lot and not only due of the language. I would like to know what he is singing about, but this is still awesome song. What surprises me is, that it seems very few hits on youtube for some reasons..
This deserves to be heard and here we go.
