2014 EUROVISION SONG CONTEST - FINAL

Eurovision Song Contest 2014 is closing tonight with the big final show with 26 countries. All of you have seen which nations have won their place to the final from semifinals. Each year every nations wants to do it and only 10 from each semifinal can. This year 11 nations lost their chance and like every year with two big surprises Estonia and Israel. I personally wait for the full results from semifinals without I say anything more.

Do of my flight lesson in slippery bathroom I am doing the final presentation by using links, so sorry for that.

FINAL
The big 5 + winner from last year should be shown to you properly for the 1st time.
12. Germany Elaiza is the 3 member group, whom represents Germany this year by the surprise of many. Each final even national one causes lots of drama, some for wrong reasons in my opinion. Ela (Elzbieta Steinmetz born 1992, Yvonne Grünwald; born 1984 and Natalie Plöger; born 1985. Ela has roots in Ukraine and her mother is operasinger. Groups debut-album is released after the contest. 14. France Twins Lorent and Francois had a band in 2009 which started their road around music. They won the SFR Young Talents contest and many others. Twins started making experimental movies for Whynot and after Francis was member in various bands as basist when Lorent wrote and published novel "Un nageur en plein ciel chez".
Later to the group joined members and TwinTwin was born. They have released EP By my side 2011 and album 2013 vive la vie.

OPINIONS for the big5+host
12. Germany  It´s both an possibility and an risk to send out fresh artists. In this case this could be great possibility as she has the charisma and the song is special just as her voice. The only problem I see/hear is the way she sings in english... she should need some lessons in english to pronounce everything right and clearly especially when the lyrics in this case are playing important part. We shall see how the nerves are holding in final as that is the answer will it be hit or an flop.
14. France  When Europe is voting based on the current beat, this should win without an doubt. Here is the humour, which is not typically connected with french eurovision entries. Song is more than catchy, preview video was an flop, but who cares of that. My 3rd favourite from 1st hearing and believe me I have heard a lot of this. Qui Qui :)
16. Italy  Emma is great artist, but the song isn´t anything compared to her songs in San Remo. This style isn´t what she is and well I have difficulties to believe in this to work. I hope for her sake, but sorry to say this song is not even good, catchy it´s only there and will people remember it? I don´t and there is therefor an problem.
19. Spain  Wow times 300 she is amazing, this clear voice wow. Song is great and I loved it from the 1st hearing and thought yeah this could be the song that wins. Song is catchy, demanding for such a home artist like me, but hey still hitting the note :)
23. Denmark  Song is both irritating as I had other favourites in national final. Still I must admit, that if he does perform as well as in their nat.final and sings as good Denmark could host the contest also next year.
26. UK   based on the preview video Molly is quite in a difficult spot. Song is strange and totally arranged too high for her voice register, which is creating the shouting feeling. It looks amateurish and very strange from a country, that dominates the popscene. I have no beliefs for Molly bringing home the victory as many believes for those reasons, but on the other hand .. eurovision song contest is changed and quality/talents are not always the criteria people at home uses. But absolutely big fat zero for UK. If you need help and want to win, well I am available for the project.

So how it will go tonight?
- Difficult to say as the running order also has a lot to do with it and I haven´t seen the rehearsals of the 6 nations.
Based on this 1st rehearsals video I am torn, as several of my faves didn´t show their best in there. So I have difficulties to make up my mind for this post.

12 Austria
10 Poland
8 Sweden
7 Ukraine
6 Denmark
5 Azerbaijan
4 Switzerland
3 Spain
2 Greece
1 Belarus
