Alejandra Gabriela Guzmán Pinal was born in Mexico City in 1968.
She was blessed to be born from two super stars of the 50's and 60's. Her mother is the mexican diva actrees Silvia Pinal, and his father the famous venezuelan singer Enrique Guzmán, that was the rock teen idol of the 60's in Latinamerica.
Nowdays she possess the nickname "The queen of the rock"
She started her career in 1988 with her fist album "Bye mama".
To date, she have released 17 albums, with 25 singles reaching top 10 in mexican charts.
In 1991 she starred a hostility period with pop mexican star Paulina Rubio, where they both were fighting for the love of the same man. For that Alejandra released the song "Hey Güera" (Hey blondie) and Paulina hit back with her first big musical hit "Mio" (Mine). The end of this, was that the man got married with an actress, and Paulina and Alejandra followed their lives.
Her musical style goes from Rock with songs like Reina de corazones, mala hierba, luz de luna, Un grito, mírala míralo and Eternamente bella to power ballads like Llama por favor, rosas rojas, ángeles caídos.
Over 20 times she has been awarded with gold or platinum discs.
During 2013 she was coach in the tv Show "The Voice Mexico"
