Burundi was the same for me as Khadja Nin, an another artist from Burundi. I will write about her later.
Now I selected for you one of the new stars Yoya.
Yoya aka Issa Jamal, born 1987, made the debut in 2005 and has been chosen for the best artist in Burundi few times. He is also known for being having political messages in his lyrics.
Well everything in life is political, more or less, but to do point out the problems isn´t that in my book!
I have now listened thru several his songs and difficult to choose actually as the musicstyle does vary. Still I chose the more uptempo for today as I just added an ballade for you earlier.
