Diana Gurtskaya, born 1979, has been blind since her birth. She debuted in 1989 and has just released her 7th album. As she was born in Abkhazia and because of the armed conflict she had to live in refugee camp with her family. After that she moved to Russia, where she now lives with her family.
She represented her country Georgia in Eurovision Song Contest in 2008 with the song " peace will come" receiving 11th place in the final.
