Switzerland : Trauffer & Czech Republic : Lucie Bila

Switzerland is known from the Alps, chocolate and clocks. When we think of music what comes to mind immendiately ... 1988 victory from Eurovision Song Contest with "ne partez pas sans moi" by no other than Celine Dion or the 1st ever "Refrain" from 1956 by Lys Assia. Some of you think isn´t there anything else than eurovision and yes there is also Dj Bobo and I could add also known from Eurovision, but this time it wasn´t such an successstory so we leave it as that.

I thought hard of the song for Switzerland and came up to group called Trauffer. Group started in 2005 and has strong fanbase. I found it very catchy mixture to add folk and rockinfluences together. Song I chose from is "nit miin typ"  despite they have just released a new song called brienzer buurli, which you may check out when you have the time.  Read more of the group from their website www.trauffermusic.ch

Czech Republic has many amazing artists. Now I represent simply superb Hana Zanaková alias  Lucie Bila, born 1966, has given out soloalbums since 1992 and been on stage in various musicals and movies without forgetting tv-series.She started as a leadsinger in heavymetalband and  as I would put it, some can do it all and Lucie certainly can. I fell for her music decades ago and she is one of Czech republics most loved artists. Lucie can surprise me each time and you´ll also see clips in her website and I am sure you will adore Lucie´s unique voice. She did release the new album just couple of weeks ago and after the popalbum she did something totally different just her voice and piano. This song "stop" I did choose as it´s so catchy song and also for the sign-language. www.luciebila.com
